I used it for desktop applications and admin dashboards as well. And surely it's actually fast, the performance will depend on how you write your code.
Quasar I like to recommend this to anyone who likes material design. You can customize the theme as well. It also has a lot of components that you need. What people like about this one is you can use it for developing cross-platform applications. But since we are on components only I will not put every detail here.
